The all nighter was attended by 150 people travelling nationally to participate. We talked to all disciplines and various age groups giving us a diverse range of comments and feedback. Riders and skaters voiced their thoughts on the New Skate area that opened in March 2010.
Consultation with participants shown that the new Skate only area was an attractive reason to come to Adrenaline Alley and that skate disciplines are benefiting from the new development.
Consultation
The main focus for consultation throughout this event was a Graffiti Club and activities for future all night events, young people requested more Art Activities for throughout the night and the girls are keen to have a dance workshop.
Volunteers.
KC continues to engage with more volunteers, we have increased by 6 people since December 2009. Anyone wishing to volunteer must see Kim Collins for information or collect a volunteer leaflet from Reception. The events organising group is still meeting on a regular basis if anyone would like to be involved in particular with the organisation of events please see Kim Collins or Jade Swan.
Forum Involvement.
We asked everyone to continue putting comments onto forum for their ideas and comments in particular using the event section on the forum, any ideas for future events or for all nighter events to be posted.
New Sk8 only Area
After consultation with young people and Four1Four we were proud to open the new Skate only area in March 2010, in the new Skate only area there is an area tonight for you to post feedback comments on this area alternatively you can leave feedback on the website forum.
New Ramp Areas – 7ft Resi Ramp and Micro Ramp (2-3ft)
We are looking at 2 new ramp developments for the facility, after speaking to participants we have identified 2 new areas for development.
The building on the 7ft Resi ramp will begin in May 2010; the small bowl area of the facility may be closed for a short period of time while building work is in progress.
The Micro Ramp will be situated where the current safe is (next to the street section), the ramp will be open in May 2010.
General Information
ICT Suite -Due to a burst water pipe the ICT Suite is currently closed, we are working hard to have the suite reopened as soon as possible.
Lockers – Adrenaline Alley provide lockers free of charge (please bring your own lock) due to the size of the facility we advise that you lock all valuables away
Future Vision
We are still working hard to secure the remainder of the funds; due to the current climate things are a little bit harder. But please keep giving us feedback all your hard work is really important and allows us to develop and make improvements.
