MORE MAJOR DEVELOPMENTS! THE LEDGE B1 FOAM PIT

MORE MAJOR DEVELOPMENTS! THE LEDGE B1 FOAM PIT

We have exceeded all expectations to bring you 2 major new developments launching on 1 st August.

Book online now to be the first to shred ‘THE LEDGE’ and ‘THE RHYTHM’.

When we reopen at 12:00 on Saturday 1 st August, our new area, ‘THE LEDGE’, will be in action for the first time. Funded by Sport England, British Cycling, GrantScape and ACTION SPACE, this awesome beginner section has been developed following the popularity of ‘THE ACADEMY’. Tucked away in a quiet corner, it’s an ideal place for young riders/skaters to build their skills and confidence. With mellow ramps and a selection of low ledges and rails, it’s perfect for novices and attractive to any technical skater. It includes a classic ‘Pier 7’ manual pad and a laid-back vert wall that’s great for getting to grips with the art of riding/skating transition. To maximise its training purpose for aspiring participants, it will be made exclusive for 12 or under during peak times.

Our foam pit in Building 1 has also been redeveloped to include ply surfaces from rolling-in to taking-off. It’s spot-on for bikes but is now suited to the smaller wheels on skateboards, scooters and inlines.

We have kept the launch ramp at 5ft with a banked roll-in so it’s comfortable for all abilities. Note: The foam pit will remain closed until COVID-19 hygiene measures can be relaxed. As soon as we can reopen it there will be no better way to perfect your tricks before taking them to the new 5ft resi box in our awe-inspiring brand-new rhythm section, also situated in Building 1 (Click here to check it out!).

Capacity will be limited and bookings are strictly online only.
