STUDENTS FROM UON LEARN ABOUT THE VALUE OF SOCIAL ENTERPRISE

18th February 2019

Students from the University of Northampton https://www.northampton.ac.uk/ came to visit us to learn and develop their skills around social enterprise.

Mandy and Robin took a group of 30 students on a tour of the facility which included a BMX demo from British Cycling team member Alex Coleborn https://www.instagram.com/alexcoleborn/. They continued to watch Triumph out of Tragedy (The story of Adrenaline Alley – https://itunes.apple.com/gb/movie/adrenaline/id924925516) in our education suite, experience our new Virtual Reality funded by Innovate Northants and finished with a Q&A session around the business and financial success of the charity from its inception to date.

Understanding the value, inspirational story and success of the charity helps them to develop their own ideas, inspire and create businesses for the future that have a greater social impact for their communities.
